About Me
I am a recent Graduate of Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois with a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition with a concentration in Dietetics. My goal is to complete a Dietetic Internship which will allow me to sit for the Registered Dietitian's exam. If I am to pass the R.D. exam, I would like to work clinically at first before venturing out to explore the vast options that nutrition and dietetics has to offer.
I currently work as both a Nutrition Assistant and a Kitchen Coordinator at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL.
Though academic success has been my priority for the majority of my life, I alsoenjoy exercising, cooking, reading, and drawing in my free time.
Skills
I believe that I am a very well-rounded individual both as an academic student as well as an employee and volunteer. Some of my area of expertise include:
+ Nutrition, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Receptionist Duties, Phone Etiquette, Customer Service, Food Preparation, Microsoft Word and Excel, CBORD, CareConnection, Teletracking, and Academic Achievement
I am also highly detailed, an organized multi-tasker, always punctual, and a positive team player which I think will greatly help me to succeed in both my internship and my career as a Dietitian
My Passion
One of my greatest passions that I discovered while in my undergrad thanks to so many amazing food labs was adapting, modifying, creating, and experimenting with recipes. Below are pictures of some of my favorite things that I have made over the years.
